About the Artist

Doris Rodriguez was born and raised in the Dominican Republic and is currently working in New York and Miami. She attended The Altos de Chavon School of Design and then earned a BFA from Parsons The New School for Design, and a Masters in Arts Education from Florida International University.

She has been an artist in residence at the Art Center / South Florida, the Art Hub in Abu Dabhi, and The Bakehouse Art Complex in Wynwood, Miami.

Doris has worked as an illustrator creating images for book covers as well as Children's book illustrations, among her clients are Target, Christy Ottaviano Books, McGraw Hill, Lee and Low Books, and Highsmith Press.
